Orientation for incoming Stillmeadow Elementary School kindergarten students and their parents is Wednesday, August 28 at 8:10 am.
During orientation, children will meet their classroom teacher, participate in a kindergarten activity, and attend gym, music, or art with a teacher specialist. Parents will spend time in the classroom with their child and hear presentations from the classroom teacher and school administrators.
Please review the schedule with your child prior to attending orientation .
- 7:50 am to 8:10 am: Snap a picture in the “First Day Photo Booth” and shop the Stillmeadow Spirit Store.
- 8:10: Students and parents report to the classroom.
- 8:45: Students participate in gym, art or music. Parents remain in the classroom for a meeting with the classroom teacher.
- 9:30: Parents report to the Media Center for a presentation.Children return to their classrooms for an activity with their teachers.
- 10:10: Parents return to classrooms to meet their children for dismissal.
Teacher assignments were mailed in mid-August to the address provided during kindergarten registration.
