Orientation for incoming kindergarten students and their parents is Wednesday, August 30 from 8:10 to 10:10 am.
During orientation, children will meet their classroom teachers, participate in a classroom activity, and attend Gym, Music, or Art with a teacher specialist. Parents will spend time in the classroom with their child and hear presentations from their child’s teacher and school administrators.
We encourage you to review the schedule of events with your child prior to his/her visit on August 30th.
8:10: Students and parents report to the classroom.
8:45: Students participate in gym, art or music (see below). Parents remain in the classroom for a brief presentation from the classroom teacher.
- Mrs. Boucher’s class has Music with Mr. Bodofsky in the music room.
- Miss Pensiero’s class has Gym with Ms. Anker in the gymnasium.
- Miss Rigakos’ class has Gym with Miss Paolino in the gymnasium.
- Mrs. Kells’ class has Music with Mr. Farfone in the cafeteria.
- Mrs. Callahan’s class has Art with Miss Austin in the cafeteria.
9:30: Parents report to the Media Center for a presentation by school administrators. Children return to their classroom for classroom activity with their teacher.
10:00: Parents return to the classroom.
10:10: Dismissal.
